Chopped Salad 2.0

This time, no cucumber, lemon, dill, or pita.  Shredded rotisserie chicken (thank you, sweet Mary), cilantro, lime, spinach, and red pepper flakes.  The kids had Top Ramen.  Notice I didn't take a photo of that.

P.S.  I was getting a little sheepish about my frequent postings, so I asked Priya and my Mom if it was overkill.  They're the worst people to ask because they love and like me a lot. That's probably why I asked them.  My Mom, in touch with her inner marketing guru, said, "Right now, you're trying to build your fan base, so keep it coming."  Priya reads everything the second it's posted, so she's not saturated.  Maybe she'll change her mind after today.

Oops! My daughter was on the computer and it posted that the comment was from her. Although I think she'll like the Blasted Broccoli Bowl I'm making tonight :)

i'm disappointed when i come + there isn't a new one, SO KEEP THEM COMING (although you probably couldn't keep up with my "check-ins" unless you were doing this full-time). :)

and thanks for giving a recipe EVEN for something as simple as the mango topping. some of us appreciate even the most basic of direction. :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Keep posting away!

Thing is, people will read when they want. They might check every day or maybe once a week. They'll skim or they'll read every word. They choose how they engage and when.

You're not cluttering their inboxes (unless they choose to subscribe like me). But for those who do, we want to be distracted from the hum drum monotony of our everyday lives.

You give us time to reflect on our food, our lives, and the smallest ways in which we should look out for opportunities to be grateful.

I welcome that many many times a day.

Many.

Oh my goodness...No, no, keep them coming!

How will I be able to learn to cook with things I have on hand? That's what I love about this blog...simple, easy, delicious and unique, which I think makes it stand out from the rest.

Sarah, I am loving your blog. I just got caught up and my only regret is that I haven't tried any of your recipes (beyond the delish granola) yet. I will though. You are my new favorite cookbook!

Ellen, I just love your comment about leaving the grocery store without anything in your cart. One of my favorite sayings is that "The greenest things are the things we don't buy." For me, this also applies to being creative with what's in my fridge so I don't waste it. Good for you!
